Terceira Events

Terceira Events is a community-driven project that helps people discover events on Terceira Island, Azores. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy applies to both the Terceira Events website and mobile app.

We do not collect any personal data.

• No account or registration is required
• No analytics or tracking scripts are used
• No cookies are set by our website
• No personal information is transmitted to our servers

The Terceira Events mobile app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Notification settings — your preferences for daily summaries and event reminders
• Event reminders — which events you have chosen to be reminded about

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

The app fetches event data from publicly available files hosted on GitHub. No personal information is sent in these requests beyond what your device normally includes in any web request (such as IP address).

If you enable notifications in the app, all notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No push notification service or external server is involved.

Our website and app contain links to external websites and services (Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, Ticketline, etc.). These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

The website uses Google Fonts to load typefaces. Google may collect usage data through this service. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
